How to Locate phone using Google Android device manager

This guide is all about how to locate your phone remotely on google map using android device manager. Android Device Manager is a Google’s official and easy-to-use tool to track your Android phone or tablet. The best thing about it is that you don’t need to install an app to be able to track your devices. The only requirement is that your device is connected to your Google account, turned on and connected to the internet.

This guide includes 2 main steps.

1.Login to your google account.
2.Locate your phone on Google Map.

1.Login to your google account.

To begin, log in to your Google account https://accounts.google.com.

On Google account tab, locate Find your phone section from Sign in & Security section and click or tap to start.

On Find your phone window, select your device to locate. you may need to sign in after selecting device.

Login to your google account again, to start to track your phone.

 

2.Locate your phone on Google Map.

To locate your phone, Your device is connected to your Google account and your device has access to the internet.

On the control window, you can let it ring by clicking on Ring located at top right, you can locate it by clicking on Locate button. Also, you are able to lock your registered Android devices, let your phone ring and wipe your phone’s data.

Once you press Locate, Google’s Android Device Manager try to contact your device.

And it will locate your phone on Google Map with little tolerance. you can also use other Android phone to track it. Instead of using the mobile browser, you can also use the Android Device Manager application to locate.

To locate, you must be allowed Android Device Manager to locate your device which is turned on by default. It can be changed in the Google Settings app.
